CONNECTING VETERANS. REDUCING SUICIDE. BUILDING COMMUNITY.
ROGUE CELL
Rogue Cell is a veteran-led nonprofit based in Astoria focused on reducing veteran suicide by building connection, purpose, and community for veterans across the North Coast. Our work creates places for veterans to gather, heal, serve, and stay connected.

Why It Matters
• Connection helps fight isolation.
• Routine and purpose support recovery.
• Peer relationships make it easier to ask for help.
• Creative, social, and service-based programs reduce stigma around mental health.
• Veterans still have skills, leadership, and service to offer their community.
Mental Health & Access
• As cofounder, Sean Davis is going through NAMI peer support training to become a Certified Peer Support Specialist.
• Rogue Cell is working with the Portland VA, Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare (CBH), and Virtue at the Point to make mental healthcare more accessible to rural veterans.
• The goal is earlier support, easier access less isolation, and a clearer path to care.

Advocacy & Partnerships
• Helping push for a Clatsop County Veterans Advisory Committee so veterans have a stronger voice in county government.
• Building the Vet HERO vision — Veterans Helping Enhance Rural Oregon — to connect veterans with continued service and community readiness.
• Working with local leaders, nonprofits, service clubs, and veterans organizations to build real partnerships.

Bottom Line
Rogue Cell meets veterans where they are — over coffee, on a dog walk, on the air, at community events, in creative spaces, and through real partnerships — because connection saves lives.
