Every year the VA has the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival. I've entered twice and won an award for my digital illustrations for our Region here in the Pacific Northwest. I'm going to share the information you need below, but if you have any questions email me at Sean@RogueCell.org.
Dear Veterans,
Here we are folks! It’s just 32 days until submissions are due for our local Creative Arts Festival competition! The deadline for this year’s entries is 5pm on September 5th, 2025.
Entries being submitted need to have been completed After October of 2024.
Once again, I am attaching the 2025 handbook and consent forms, the 3203 form & 5345 ( form if combat related, group art and/or special recognition or scholarship nomination). The fillable entry forms for submissions are located in the NVCA Handbook, per category: Art Division, pages 20-21, Creative Writing, page 27, Dance, page 33, Drama, page 39, Music, page 49.
Here’s what we need from you in order to participate:
-3203 Form signed and returned (email)
-5345 Form signed if applicable (if work is combat related, group art and/or special recognition or scholarship nomination)
-1 overview image of your work if applicable (i.e. not done for poetry since you’re just submitting the work, etc!) – need to be jpg attachments
-1 detailed image of your work if applicable – jpg’s as well
-Entry form for the category you are participating in
If you happen to be new to the process it might feel like a lot, however, it’s really a few signatures, a little information, and a few pictures.
